Baltimore has many outstanding historic locations to visit for a day trip or a weekend. There’s the burial place of Edgar Alan Poe and the B&O Railroad Museum for starters. Plus all the great food and restaurants in downtown Baltmore.
Located within walking distance of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the Flag House was the home of Mary Young Pickersgill, maker of the flag that became known at The Star-Spangled Banner. Her row home on Pratt Street is now a museum that offers guided tours. Be sure to pay it on the destinations to visit while in Charm City.
